Privacy is key to both Professionals and Families. SurgeLink PE
was designed to protect your rights and minimize the
vulnerabilities typical of other programs.
1. No general chat rooms are allowed.
2. We do not disseminate private information to other Surgelink
PE users or to sponsors.
3. No one can send you a Surgelink PE message unless you have
put him or her on one of your contact lists AND they have put you
on one of their contact lists. Part of this security is based on
users establishing a mutually agreed on contact list via a phone
or email. At any point you can drop a member from your contact
list and, thus, stop further messages.

Free
SurgeLink PE is a sponsored product. It will be developed with funds from foundations, and Corporations as well as state and federal grants. If you do not wish to see sponsor information, you can purchase a self-sponsored version for $20.

Fun
SurgeLink PE lets you talk through animated characters, and combine audio (WAV), video (AVI), and push web pages - right in your audience's face. You can set up animated phases or whole scripts and mix them as you desire. You can even use Dragon Dictate's� speech to text program for the ultimate experience. Create and deliver Internet based animated plays.

Fast
Smaller is faster. Did you know that one minute of spoken text is less than 1K of data and that can be easily transmitted on standard modems. SurgeLink allows you to choose how you want to use your available bandwidth. Move an animated pointer or other animation characters and you're barely using another 10 BYTES of data. This makes Surgelink super fast on any connection around the world.

Easy
SurgeLink PE lets you build your own hotkeys as fast as you can think about them. Use your word processor to make a script, and command audio, video clips or web pages at your will. Later mix them in with your conversation in just a few keystrokes.
